Jesus Stories Part 15: Kingdom of the Possible | Josh Harrison

Message Description

A lot of people, both inside and outside the Church, have strong opinions about the Sermon on the Mount. Inside the Church, people have a respect and reverence for "Jesus' greatest teaching," but find it to be difficult, even impossible, to live out. Good thing there's grace to bail us out! Outside the Church, where there is very little reverence for Jesus and his teachings, the Sermon on the Mount gets even less respect. People find it to be naive and out of touch with the real world. But both groups tend agree, no one can actually do these things. But what if Jesus really believed that the things he taught were not only possible but inevitable for people who were at home in the Kingdom of the heavens? This week, we take a look at Matthew 5:13-48 through that lens. What if it's all possible?
