This week's First Gospel conversation comes out of Exodus 19:1-6 where we hear directly from God what it means to be his people. It means: we are loved and rescued by his grace, we are invited into a mature relationship with him defined by obedience and partnership, and because of this, we are able to represent him in the world, to live in conspicuous and compelling freedom and so to draw others to him.
